Did the plot pull you in or did you feel you had to force yourself to read the book? Some book club members found it difficult to move past some sections of the story. Each action is described in more than 3 paragraphs and while the writing is good, you do want more of the story than one description after another.
How realistic was the characterization? The characters and their situations seemed real enough. Even without time travel and saving the world, personal relationships can be a challenge. The author clearly illustrates this between the steamy elements of the novel.
How does the setting figure into the book? The setting was the most important thing about the book. For me, it was the Titanic that made the story interesting. Each historical element was woven into the stories of these people. Will definitely go back to read other books in the series.
