What were the main themes of the book? Independence and family. All four women in the stories wanted to set out on their own and create a name for themselves. Breaking away from family wasn't a sacrifice it was a necessary escape. Of all four stories, Krystal was the weakest and the strongest was Camille.
Describe 2 different settings or locations. When Camille chases Walker out of their home. This was humourous in some ways but also showed her strength that she had had enough of his cheating ways.
Were you able to connect with the main character and why? As there was more than one main character, each at different stages of their lives, I think most of us at the book club were able to connect with all women in one way or another.
Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from the author.
