The Final Straw
Favourite scene …. When Colin and Karen make separate plans for the holiday season. This isn't really my favourite scene but of all the scenes, I think this one will stay with me for a long time.Favourite quote … "Their grief had been genuine and heartfelt, but when that grief had faded, as it had in Karen’s case, there was certainly a distance between them, a coolness that hadn’t been there previously."
Would you recommend this book. Most certainly. There's something for everyone in this book so it definitely needs more attention that it is getting now.
